Rule 21: Entries on official Feis Shligigh entry forms, accompanied by full entry fee (except Irish dancing) must reach the secretary of the particular section not later than Fri. 26th January, 2018. After this date entries may be accepted only at the discretion of the executive committee.

Age: In these competitions no competitor may enter in more than one age group.

Official Accompanist: An official accompanist will be provided. If required copies of music must be sent to the secretary of the section with the entry form and appropriate fee. In Choral and Ensemble competitions competitors may provide their own accompanist.

Own Choice Music: Competitors must bring a copy to the adjudicator or marks can be deducted. All music must be clearly marked with the name of the competitor and class for which it is intended. Music must be claimed at the end of each session. The Committee will not be responsible for lost music

Open to any combination of instruments. Competitors up to and including Grade 4, to play a selection of contrasting pieces, not exceed 10 minutes.

Entrance Fee: €6.00 per competitor.

30M. INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE - SENIOR
Open to any combination of instruments. Competitors Grade 5 and higher, to play a selection of contrasting pieces, not exceed 10 minutes.
Category A: Strings
Category B: Wind
Entrance Fee: €6.00 per competitor.

31M. CONCERTO COMPETITION
Open to any instrument. Competitors to play a movement of a concerto of own choice.
Not to exceed 8 minutes.
Entrance Fee: €10.00

 

32M. GUITAR / HARP (Under 11 years)
Not to exceed 5 minutes.

33M. GUITAR / HARP (Under 13 years)
Not to exceed 7 minutes.

34M. GUITAR / HARP (Under 15 years)

35M. THE BUNTING PERPETUAL CUP
IRISH HARP OPEN

Over 15 years. Competitors to play two contrasting pieces of own choice.

Orchestral Manoeuvres Scholarships
These Scholarships will be awarded by the Adjudicator at the 2018 Feis and must be taken in the year of the award.
