Rule 21: All entries through the “entry” portal on our website www.feis-shligigh.ie. Closing dates for entries (midnight) Tuesday, 11th February 2025. After this date entries may be accepted only at the discretion of the executive committee.
I agree to be bound by the rules of the Feis Committee. Should I win a trophy or cup I agree to return it in good condition to the Committee on or before the closing date for entries for the following year.

The adjudicator will only hear competitors on the day and time specified in the Feis Programme.
Competitors may enter in own age group only. Age shall be reckoned as on the 1st January 2025.
Important: A Copy of script and Cast List must be forwarded with entry.
1. No group may present the same play for two competitions.
2. Competing groups must provide written evidence of the Author’s permission to perform play/plays to the Secretary. The Feis Committee cannot accept liability for Performing Rights.
3. Entries will not be accepted without

4. The use of sets and properties must be strictly limited - Drapes and relevant props only.
5. A strict time rule shall be used FOR EACH PERFORMANCE.
A penalty of one mark will be imposed for every minute over the allocated time.
Age: In these competitions no competitor may enter in more than one age group.
Feis Example One: 8-10 Years means, aged 8 or 9 on 1st January 2025. Example two: 12-15 Years means aged 12, 13 or 14 years on the 1st January 2025

THE CATHERINE DEVANEY MEMORIAL CUP SPONSORED BY COOLERA DRAMATIC SOCIETY
A cup will be awarded to the most promising competitor between 14 – 18 years.
At least six candidates will be selected by the adjudicator from performances presented at this years Feis.
Each Candidate will be required to
A. Perform a scene from a play of literary merit that has not been performed by the competitor at this years Feis.
B. Have a brief conversation with the adjudicator.
Performance will not exceed 5 minutes
The Adjudicator’s decision is final.
Scenes must be suitable and appropriate for
performance before a mixed audience, which may include young children.
Previous winners are not eligible to compete again.
